Baa baa grump!

RL have been busy rehearsing for the Christmas nativity. They have been busy learning songs for the play.

Here is one of the songs the children have been learning. It would great if you could practise it at home.

Baa Baa Grump!

What a very grumpy sheep
A very grumpy sheep X2
She grumps all day,
She grumps all night
And nothings ever right! X2

She says ‘Baa, Baa, grump!
Baa, Baa grump!
Bleat, bleat, grump!’ X2

What a very grumpy sheep
A very grumpy sheep X2

It was the Heritage day on friday. RL dressed up in red, green and yellow, to go with the colours of our flag, lithunia . RL had a fashion parade in the class room in the morning and in the afternoon RL did a whole school parade, where they could show off the lovely flags they had been making in class.

Autumn walk

The children in RL went for an autumn walk this week. They enjoyed using their senses to explore the environment. RL collected the leaves from the ground and brought them back to class to explore further. They enjoyed doing leaf rubbings.

Gardening area - digging up the carrots!

Last year the Nursery children planted carrot seeds. The children were responsibile for looking after them and they have now grown in to carrots. Last week the children learned about harvest and the school visited the church to celebrate harvest festival. This week some of the foundation stage children decided that it was time to harvest the carrots and a group of them dug them up. This is what happened.
